Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis Resort Guide

As Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis isn't served by any UK package operators, it retains a more 'exclusive' feel, with great quality accommodation and facilities, beloved by skiers from across Europe.   However, we have sourced some excellent hotels and B & Bs, and even a couple of catered chalets (a rare find in Austria) so can offer you a choice of superb properties, as well as assist with transfers from Innsbruck, the nearest airport.

Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis in Tirol - a hidden gem amongst ski resorts and little known by the UK market - is actually three villages making up this excellent ski area, about an hour's drive from Innsbruck.  It is well-known as a family destination, but offers skiing for all levels of skier.    The ski area is varied and extensive, with around 214 km of slopes - Tyrol's Ski Dimension, a merger of the ski areas Serfaus and Fiss-Ladis, covers an elevation of between 1,200 and 2,820 metres and is more than just a joint ski pass. For beginners and advanced skiers alike as well as for the whole family, the range of slopes on the plateau is ideal: wide pistes with plenty of space – even for carving – provide skiing pleasure at all levels of difficulty.

Everything is there for ski fans

Waiting for the lift? We're told that there is no such thing at ski area Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis in Tyrol, because up to 90,000 winter sport enthusiasts can be transported per hour. Snowboarders have their own fun parks and a huge free-ride area, carvers also have their own carving run and speed freaks can enjoy two permanent racing runs on which they can compete against their friends.

Accommodation & Après Ski

Whilst not being renowned for a wild apres scene, there is a good range of bars, pubs and restaurants in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis as well as a variety of non-skiing activities such as horse and carriage rides, winter hiking, snow-shoeing, cross-country skiing, toboganning and ice-skating.  As a family resort, there are creche facilities (we can give clients details in order to make direct contact), as well as e-buggy rental - a kind of all-terrain vehicle for babies and toddlers!

It's probably not the best choice for an apres-heavy holiday with a group of mates, but we can offer other options that ARE!  However, if you're looking for excellent skiing, uncrowded pistes, minimal queues and good quality accommodation, this could be the place.
